Saskatoon Berries Makers' Circles

The Snelgrove Gallery will be set up with various makers' circles Monday, February 26th - Friday, March 1st, between 10am to 4pm, and Saturday, March 2nd, between 12 - 5pm. The Top of the Ramp in the Arts Tower will be set up with makers' circles Monday, February 26th - Friday, March 1st between 11am to 2pm. With materials provided, these are spaces for creative practice as we invite students, employees, and the general public to stop by and partake in the act of creating micro-art Saskatoon Berries.
About this Program
These Makers' Circles are part of our collaborative exhibition with ISAP, Saskatoon Berry Jam. Various materials will be available at each site to allow visitors to create these berries however they wish! As you create, please consider leaving a berry (or more) in the buckets provided across these spaces.
Following the conclusion of these Makers' Circles, the berry-filled buckets will be collected, and given away to various events and speakers during Indigenous Achievement Week, March 4th - 8th. This act of give aways holds a strong history for Indigenous communities, one that we hope to acknowledge with this exhibition.
