An MFA Group Exhibition

Gordon Snelgrove Gallery, closed the week of January 30 - February 3; open the following week Monday to Friday, 10 am - 4 pm

Usask MFA (Studio Art) candidates will gather in the Gordon Snelgrove Gallery for a two-week studio intensive to reflect on what it means to occupy a gallery space and how it relates to their artistic practice. In this new context and shared environment, the artists will consider what it is to take up and inhabit space, and envision gallery as laboratory. While initiating new dialogues between practices, the context presents a unique opportunity to carry out experimental and ambitious new work.

Featuring an Instagram Takeover! Each day of their exhibition, an MFA Studio Art Candidate will takeover the Gordon Snelgrove Instagram account! Follow along here. 

MFA Candidates: Jordan Bidyk, Brody Burns, Jean-Sebastian Gauthier, Yang Lan, Shelby Lund, Demilade Otayemi, Narges Porsandekhial, Leanne Read, Sahar Soheilisadigh and Aurora Wolfe.
