The ISAP Exhibition showcases the artwork produced by students in the 2022/23 class of ART 136, Digital and Integrated Practice I Foundations course. Students learnt the foundations of design followed by a wide range of projects in the disciplines of drawing, painting, printmaking (lino-cuts), sculpture (found-object), digital media and mix-media. Students had varying skill levels upon entry, though they all produced works that they should be very proud of!

About the Exhibition
The Fried Bannock Project
The Fried Bannock Project is a found poetry creation project hosted by Indigenous Student Achievement Pathways (ISAP) that coincides with Indigenous Achievement Week. This event will focus on reclaiming Indigenous voice through the creation of found poetry based on various academic and artistic texts. The project is named in celebration of fried bannock—a quintessential Indigenous creation of survival, comfort and nourishment. Fried bannock brings together community.
From 11 am–2 pm each day, ISAP will host a found poetry creation station at the top of the ramp near Arts 250. This station will consist of two tables and 10–12 chairs. The station will be open to all who wish to create found poetry. Visit here to learn more about the project!
Each day of The Fried Bannock Project, these newly created poems will be projected within the Gordon Snelgrove Gallery alongside the ISAP exhibition.
