Breanne Bandur

Ebb and Flow

August 16 - 26, 2021

AKA artist-run

Exhibition available for view by appointment. Please contact breanne.bandur@usask.ca for viewing.

Action, poetics, language, translation, illusion, reflection, intimacy, feeling, ordering. Rhythmic vibration, intuitive gesture, embodied metaphor, sensorial experience. Searching, seeing, questioning, recording, revealing. A series of spatial relations, an act of expressiveness, an exploration into the unknown, a process of coming to know. A way of entering into, portraying, and bringing permanence to the illusive and ephemeral.

Drawings are material traces of gestures belonging to specific moments in time.

Ebb and Flow is an exhibition motivated by this range of possibilities that exists within drawing, and engages in dialogue with its practice through the immersive power of mark making.
